Day 01: Arrive in Lima

You will be welcomed by our local staff at the Lima airport and transferred to the hotel

Day 02: Flight Lima/Cusco

At the indicated time, pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport to take the flight to the city of Cusco. Arrival to the city of Cusco (3.399 m.a.s.l). Transfer to the hotel.

Day 03: City tour

Breakfast

By the afternoon pick up from the hotel to explore the magical city of Cusco and the Inca constructions that surround the city. Beginning in the Cathedral full of history and works of art, then we will see the Temple of the Sun Qoricancha. We will also visit the imposing fortress of Sacsayhuaman Qenqo, Puka - Pukara, and finally Tambomachay

Day 04: Sacred Valley

Breakfast / Lunch

In the morning pick up from the hotel to tour the Sacred Valley. First we will visit Pisac, famous for its handicrafts, where we will also visit the archaeological center. At noon we will enjoy a delicious lunch in Urubamba, then visit the Ollantaytambo ruins. Night in the Sacred Valley according to the chosen hotel.

Day 05: Inca Trail

The Inca trail to Machu Picchu is one of the best trekking in the world, due to its exquisite natural beauty, made up of different ecological niches ranging from high deserts to tropical Andean forests and archaeological monuments. We will begin our trek (km 82) accompanied by native Quechua porters, advancing through the fertile valleys along the Urubamba River with a magnificent view of the snowy and Veronica glacier, then we will continue to Llactapata, an ancient Inca citadel that protected the entrance to two valleys, ancient Inka abode, after the guided tour, we will walk 1.30 hrs. to the Wayllabamba camp.

Day 06: Inca Trail

The first part of our journey will take us from the Inca village of Wayllabamba to the passage of Warmihuañusca (the passage of the dead woman) to 4200 m., Which is the highest part of the route. This is the most exhausting day because we will walk for about six hours until we reach the Pacaymayu camp.

Day 07: Inca Trail

We will trek through a remarkably well preserved Inca trail, through ancient dense rainforest, then visit Runkuraquay, Sayacmarka, Inka bridge, Phuyupatamarka (city above the clouds), with a spectacular view of several snow-capped peaks of the Andean mountain range, our camping will be in Wyñaywayna ( forever young), probably the most spectacular archaeological complex of the route, for a lush cloud forest covered with flowers and songs of multicolored birds. At night, we will enjoy an excellent dinner and as is tradition, the group of travelers will organize to perform a ceremony of gratitude to the group of porters who attended them on this walk.

Day 08: Arrive in Machu Picchu

Breakfast

Travelers will wake up at 4 in the morning and breakfast will be served at 4.45 am. The departure time is estimated at 5.30 am, a checkpoint of Inka road, we will go through the rainforest, passing by Inti Punku (Puerta del Sol), we will arrive at Machupicchu, the lost city of the Incas; where we will make a complete tour through the citadel, then, in the afternoon, we will take the bus of descent to the town of Machu Picchu where we will spend the night.

Day 09: Back to Cusco

If you have time and energy, we can organize in advance the visit to the Huayna Picchu Mountain, a place full of magic and especially from where you can see the Inca city of Machu Picchu in all its splendor

Remember that the entrances for Huayna Picchu are limited and if you want to reserve your entrances it must be in advance time

At the indicated time we will take the train to return to Cusco. Arrival Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10: Free day in Cusco

Rest of the free day in the city of Cusco accompanied by the guide.

Day 11: Flight to Lima. Return home

At the indicated time pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport and flight to Lima city. Arrive Lima and board the international flight.
