Uros Island tour & Kayak At Luquina
This great adventure begins at 6:30am with a transfer from your hotel to the port. We then travel by motorboat to visit the famous Uros floating Islands. The boat is 35 feet long with a covered section in case of rain or cold weather and comes fully equipped including a toilet. Stepping on the floating islands feels a lot like a waterbed but it is quite safe to walk on them. We see inside the houses, check out 2 of the 60 the islands and can also arrange rides on traditional reed boats. We then continue b motor boat and after a relaxing 2 hours of navigation we reach Luquina, a traditional Aymaran community that holds a spectacular location with terrific Lake Titicaca views. It will be then the starting point of our adventure.

Itinerary:
At 10.00 am we meet the team of Titicaca kayak and your certified kayak Guide. Who will give us the security briefing and basic paddling instructions and help Us the get on properly the kayak gear, flotation device etc. (No previous experience required, but good physical condition). At 10.30 am we start paddling towards the tip of the Peninsula of Chucuito, see how the great Lake Titicaca opens and gets endless, it is possible to distinct the high Bolivian snow caped mountains at the other side of the Lake. Enjoying the cool lake breeze we continue paddling and at 11.30 am. Reach a pristine sandy beach at the community of Karina, another off the beaten track destination. Have a deserved rest and enjoy the spectacular views. Then we start paddling again back to our base camp at Luquina, at 1:00 pm approximately, we reach the shores at the base camp. Where the local families will welcome us with some hot drinks and ready lunch, share with them a cross cultural experience while enjoying a delicious typical lunch. At 3:00pm. Our group continues trip back to Puno city, arrival at 5:00pm approximately and transfer to your elected Hotel.
